On August 5, 2019, the 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Guangdong·Guangzhou Division) and the 4th Yangcheng “Kechuang Cup” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Biomedical Industry Competition (hereinafter referred to as “Contest”) rematch in Huanghuagang, Guangzhou High-tech Zone Science and Technology Park Kechuang Coffee was held, and a total of 136 participating teams in the city advanced to the biomedical industry rematch.
At present, the application of artificial intelligence has been embodied in all aspects of life. As a very important application scenario of artificial intelligence, the integration and innovation of medical industry and artificial intelligence has also received more and more attention. In order to promote the new stage of medical informatization and promote the deep integration of big data technology and medical industry, “AI+Medical” has become a major trend in the future. Therefore, there are some AI companies in this competition.
Dr. Xie Weidong, founder and CEO of DM Intelligence Ltd., participated in the competition with a member of the “Startup Group” with the Intelligent Image Analyzer project based on Digital Pathology Cloud, and personally performed roadshows and defenses. As an innovative AI company in the medical field, Zhirui Technology has developed a pathological AI-assisted diagnostic product in response to the problem of lack of pathological talents, reducing the work pressure of pathologists and improving diagnostic efficiency.
The project was jointly developed by DM Intelligence Ltd. and the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. The pathologists retrieved the data of the hospital case database, scanned and marked, and integrated machine vision, deep learning and big data mining technology through the information team. , carry out digital pathological section artificial intelligence analysis and auxiliary diagnosis, and achieve quantitative analysis of cancer.
